A flash studio or his boutique space at home: either way you get decades of recording know-how, arrangement ideas, and a decent cup of tea.

Whether you want to record your next big hit in a purpose-built studio or just throw some demos and ideas together in Rikki's boutique artist space, he brings countless hours of studio experience, recording trickery and arrangement wizardry. He also promises to make you a nice cup of tea.
From 1999 to 2006 Rikki ran The Bus, a studio in Devonport where a generation of young bands made their first recordings, among them Finn Andrews (later of The Veils), The Checks, Gin Wigmore, Electric Confectionaires and White Birds & Lemons. Filmmaker Julian McCarthy made a documentary about that scene, 'Guitars From The Leafy Suburbs'.
These days he works from his home studio, Skew Whiff, where 'About Time' was recorded and mixed. Since 2015 he has also been producing for singer-songwriter Chris Sanders.
