Forty-plus years behind the console, from Th' Dudes' pub tours to orchestras, theatres and festival stages. He'll make your band sound like itself, only louder.
Straight out of school Rikki enrolled in what he calls the University of Life: eighteen months of solid touring as sound engineer for Th' Dudes, then the biggest rock band in the country. It set him on the way to becoming one of New Zealand's most in-demand engineers.
He has toured New Zealand as front-of-house engineer for Lloyd Cole three times, Greg Johnson six times, The Mockers twice, Mel Parsons a couple of times and Finn Andrews once. From 2018 he worked full time as FOH engineer and stage manager for Operatunity's touring concerts, and these days still heads out with them for a tour or two a year. In between, he has mixed for hundreds of local and international acts, and worked freelance at the Bruce Mason Centre and Sky City Theatre.
He's always keen to get behind a console. If you have a band, a tour or a local production that needs mixing, ask him.
